O Lord Jesus Christ, You have said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek, and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened to you." Grant, we beg of You, to us who ask it, the gift of Your most divine love, that we may ever love You with our whole heart, in word and deed, and never cease praising You.
Give us, O Lord, as much a lasting fear as a lasting love of Your Holy Name, for You, who live and are King for ever and ever, never fail to govern those whom You have solidly established in Your love. R. Amen.
Devotions to the Holy Name of Jesus
"You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain. For the Lord will not leave unpunished him who takes his name in vain."
(Exodus 20:7)
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11)
Devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus began very early in the Church. Acts 19:17 relates that the name of Jesus was held in "great esteem." Saint Bernardine of Siena (1380-1444) and his followers promoted the veneration of the Name of Jesus in public worship, and today the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus is an optional memorial for January 3rd.
Praise of the Holy Name of Jesus

May the Holy Name of Jesus be infinitely blessed!

Act of Reparation for Blasphemies Uttered Against the Holy Name of Jesus
O Jesus, my Savior and Redeemer, Son of the living God, behold, we kneel before You and offer You our reparation. We would make amends for all the blasphemies uttered against Your holy name, for the injuries done to You in the Blessed Sacrament, for the irreverence shown toward Your Immaculate Virgin Mother, and for all the calumnies and slanders spoken against Your spouse, the holy Roman Catholic Church.
O Jesus, You said: "If you ask the Father anything in my name, He will give it to you." We pray to You for all our brothers and sisters who are in danger of sin. Shield them from every temptation to fall away from the true faith; save those who are even now standing on the brink of the abyss; give them light and knowledge of the truth, courage and strength for the conflict with evil, perseverance in faith and great love!
For this do we pray, most merciful Jesus, in Your name, to God the Father, with Whom You live and reign in the unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end. Amen.
"Who will not fear you, Lord, or glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed."
(Revelation 15:4)
